A private residential house constructed circa 1908, the Edwardian three-bedroom terraced house was refurbished and extended with two rooftop loft extensions creating a new double bedroom / study within the main roof space and a lower family bathroom over the rear tenement return.
The original house had a very small bathroom on the first floor, which was extended and changed into a larger shower room space as part of the loft works and to compliment the new family bathroom.
The kitchen was refurbished with a bespoke kitchen design by DP Architects with solid maple facing doors and European beech work tops. The dining room was also refurbished with a central glass shelving opening replacing the original fireplace, creating a new spot lit storage / exhibition space.
The roof level loft extension was clad with ZM Zinc to create a contemporary insertion over the Edwardian house and was the first Approved (Planning & Building Regs) within Queens Gate which increased the value of the property by approx. 20%.
