A simple project in not only the conservation area of Stonehaven but also in relation to the Grade A Listed private residential Building, which is reputedly the second oldest building in Stonehaven with sections dating back to the 1600's. The building was extended with a single storey extension around 1999 - 2000 and also with a first-floor contemporary glazed pulpit style outlook to the town's coastal boardwalk and the sea beyond.
The project to achieve a Listed Building Approval for a Solar Panel installation on the roof of the property including drawings and also a Design & Heritage Significance Statement. It was necessary to fully consider the sensitive Listing of the property and how it is viewed within the conservation area and provide justification for the installation.
The Project was for a Full Planning and Listed Building Application(s) gaining full approvals by September 2023 and on site and completed by October 2023.
